Carl Frampton could very well be one of the boxers with the best sense of humour in the game, never one to miss an opportunity to throw in his two cents, as it were.
Monday may be a grim day for some so it’s always good to see some lighter news come across the Boxing News and Views desk.
Carl Frampton and Anthony Joshua are never going to fight one another, obviously due to the size difference, but that didn’t stop Frampton pointing out something from one of Joshua’s holiday snaps.
Joshua posted the following on Twitter:
"There's times when I might blow 💰on a vacation. For all my souljas just to see the look on all their faces, all it took was patience" 🎶 pic.twitter.com/OuhQqePfHG
— Anthony Joshua (@anthonyjoshua) January 7, 2018
To which “The Jackal” swooped in to point out:
“I’d be raging big man. Not a smile between them. Ungrateful lads”
Quality stuff, Frampton.
On a boxing note Frampton will face Nonito Donaire next on April 24th in Belfast at the SSE Arena in a featherweight bout. Frampton moved up to featherweight last year.
Joshua is expected to finally put pen to paper this week on a deal that will see him fight WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker in a unification fight likely in a stadium in the UK.
