It has emerged that Tyson Fury is very much his own man in more ways than one and is making things happen behind the scenes in his career.
Fury today announced that he’s applying for his boxing license again ahead of his April comeback that will be promoted by Frank Warren.
On the same day it’s all been kicking off in the boxing world, from every corner virtually across the globe.
Fury vs Joshua is the ultimate goal from Fury surely in his comeback. It’s the biggest fight in heavyweight boxing not just in the UK, but in the world.
Speaking today on television promoter of Joshua – Eddie Hearn confirmed the following about Fury and the fight:
“I think Tyson Fury is his own man. He’s speaking to everybody. I spoke with Tyson Fury this morning. He even got in contact with Anthony Joshua at the weekend. We’re all talking. That’s a fight that we would sit down now and make for 2018. I’ve already seen that he wants 60-40 which is not the idea that we have but we are up for making the Tyson Fury fight.”
He continued:
“We are prepared to sit down right now and make that fight with Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is as well, he called me straight after Tyson was texting him (Joshua) the other day.”
Fascinating stuff, Tyson Fury certainly doesn’t mess around.
