Actor Tom Hanks and Anthony Joshua met for the first time on national TV and the two clearly got on like a house on fire – Joshua showed that boxers can be very sharp in the humor department too – not just famous actors.
Joshua is doing the media rounds at the moment despite no formal announcement just yet for his next fight.
It is expected next week to be revealed as WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker.
But that’s good promoting. He’s keeping his name in the public domain in between fights. He’s been doing a shed load of it recently.
Appearing on the Graham Norton show on BBC America he met Tom Hanks for the first time:

When the show went live the questioned was asked to Joshua was he happy with his current boxing nickname “AJ” and had he ever considered changing it.
Hanks chimed in with Anthony “Mailbox” Joshua. Joshua without missing a beat replied:
“I deliver!”
Fair play, Joshua. He’s clearly getting used to these big TV shows at this stage. Here’s the moment with Hanks:
From a boxing perspective it is widely thought that Joshua will announce Parker this Monday, or Tuesday at the latest,
The bout is thought to take place on March 31st at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
