This week boxing promoter Eddie Hearn told Tyson Fury that is he wants a fight with Anthony Joshua this year all it takes is a phone call to him and that if he wanted, he could even have the Joshua fight this summer.
These grumblings have been going on for a while now, frustratingly.
Fury is now fully on his way back to boxing after the British Boxing Board of Control confirmed this week pending one or two final medical exams, he will be issued his boxing license back and allowed to return to the ring this year.
This followed further positive news for Fury in recent times who has continued to shed weight on the road back to fitness and also finally had his long-standing UKAD case sorted out.
He’s said many times on social media that he would be willing to face Joshua in his first fight back but this week Eddie Hearn called him out on that belief, saying the fight is there for him if he wants it.
However Fury has taken issue with Hearn, saying to him on Twitter:
@EddieHearn what are you talking about I offered you & @anthonyfjoshua the fight many times but u keep saying no! I have the proof & you know it, talking ****! @SkySportsBoxing @SkyUK @SkyNews
