The boxing community are not happy with the WBC heavyweight champion taking aim at a legend of the past in the sport in the form of Mike Tyson.
Comparing fighters from different eras must be one of the oldest traditions among boxing fans. It’s always happened over the years.
But when fighters start going comparing themselves to legends of the past, that’s where things get a little dicey.
Deontay Wilder has been the story of the day in boxing following remarks where he said he would have beaten a 1986 version (in his prime) of former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.
As you might have imagined, Wilder has been getting absolutely slated all day for his opinion:
When he says young I’m presuming he means a 10 year old Tyson

Nobody would beat a young Tyson.

All the greatest heavyweights of all time would struggle with a young Mike Tyson, he was an absolute animal who destroyed everything in his path! I think Mr wilder is talking way above his station ?
