IBF welterweight world champion Errol Spence likes his boxing films but it turns out he doesn’t like the most popular series of movies in the boxing genre of them all.
Spence is coming off the back of another impressive performance following a big win over Lamont Peterson earlier this month who forced a stoppage inside the distance.
So far Spence has looked like a tough man to beat.
A technical beat down artist who can scrap on the inside when needed to, but also seems to have his own way of breaking opponents down round by round.
On a lighter note when asked about the iconic Rocky movies following his recent win, Spence told TMZ that:
“I didn’t really like Rocky. I’m not going to say it’s the worst boxing movie of all time but I didn’t like Rocky. It was too fake. The dude got hit like a million times in one round but still keep going. It was just too fake.”
No doubt a few fans might disagree with his views on the legendary movie but they won’t care provided he keeps turning in those impressive wins inside the ring.
It is thought a fight against one of the major players at welterweight could be next up for Spence who should return to the ring within four months or so.
