“Dell Boy” was in attendance at this weekend’s boxing in London headlined by Okolie and Chamberlain and had a proposal for David Haye who promotes Joe Joyce.
Dereck Chisora, always at the centre of things. Instigating and fishing.
Say what you want about the man – but he’s delivered entertainment for boxing fans throughout his career.
Sure, the outside the ring stuff cannot be condoned, in terms of the press conference brawls and so forth over the years, but they have had the added effect of adding to his notoriety and ultimately sellability within the fight business.
Now at the age of 34 it’s all about landing the big fights for Chisora – who’s been in his fair share over the years.
He’s now coming off a majority decision loss to Agit Kabayel last time out however and is on the pursuit of an upping and coming star to take the scalp of – Joe Joyce.
32-year-old Joyce turned pro last year with David Haye and Richard Schaefer’s Ringstar promotional outfit and was seen shaking on a deal here last night if the price is right:

Indeed Haye and Chisora know one another very well and are intimately familiar with one another having shared the ring in the past – and traded blows outside of it too.
As a fight Chisora vs Joyce could have some appeal to be fair.
Not a bad fight for both men at two different stages of their careers.
