Andre Ward Thinks Crawford and Spence Are The Two Killers In Boxing Today

Andre Ward Thinks

Former pound for pound maestro Andre Ward has sung the praise on who he believes to be the two best in the sport today now that he’s retired.

Pound for pound is always a tough debate.

Particularly now as the sport is flourishing around the world and there’s so many to pick from whether it’s Golovkin, Lomachenko or whoever you may think yourself.

Errol Spence Jr and Terence Crawford are certainly in most people’s pound for pound rankings but speaking to FightHype.com – Andre Ward thinks they are the two to watch in boxing today:

“Fighters are confident dudes but there’s only a handful of guys that can express that a certain way and they go do it. Only a handful of guys. But there’s a lot of copy cats, there’s a lot of guys trying to walk in those footsteps and stuff. But, the two killers right now? They don’t talk very much. That’s Errol Spence and Terence Crawford.”

Ward made the move to retire from boxing in 2017 but has since been linked with a comeback at heavyweight in 2018 – which he has not definitely ruled out, either.

He now manages fighters and is involved in a number of ventures but you’d have to think we’ll see him in a boxing ring again one day, given the fact he’s still so young.
