The Jeff Horn vs Terence Crawford venue has now been finalised ahead of April’s WBO welterweight world title showdown between the two.
It will mark Crawford’s first time fighting at welterweight and goes straight in for a title shot after unifying the junior-welterweight division last year.
The fight which will take place on April 14th will now be heading to the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas as reported by Dan Rafael of ESPN.
All details are still to be officially announced at a press conference soon but the bones of a deal is agreed upon it is understood.
It is also thought the event will be a pay per view event that will also feature Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao against an opponent to be confirmed.
Pacquiao lost his WBO belt to Australian Horn last year and is now in the winding down stage of his career, with possibly this year been his last in the sport.
If it is to be his last year in the sport it would be reasonable to assume his promoter will look to match him with an in-house fighter before the year is out.
