Groves vs Chris Eubank Jr Weigh in results are now in a short time ago as both men took to the scales ahead of their WBA super-middleweight world title shot.
Both men looked in top fight shape today ahead of tomorrow night’s fight at the Manchester Arena.
The following were the official weights:
- 76kg
- 75.8kg
After the weigh-in Eubank Jr who was booed when on the scales said:
“This is the biggest fight of my career. I want this more than anything in my life. He doesn’t realise the danger he is in. He’s going to find out on Saturday night.”
Groves mentioned after the weigh-in that the loser of the fight will have to consider retiring from the sport. He also said:
“I’m in the prime of my career. I’m fighting better than ever. Enjoy tomorrow night.”
Eubank Jr finished by saying:
“George Groves is getting knocked out cold.”
Both men seemed very confident overall and that they had trained very hard.
All signs are pointing to one hell of a fight come tomorrow night.
The bookmakers have Groves a slight underdog but in truth, this is a fifty-fifty fight.
