George Groves moves onto the final of the World Boxing Super Series following an impressive unanimous points win this past weekend over Chris Eubank Jr.
The man from Hammersmith has won over plenty of fans in recent years for his determination and will to never give up on his world title dream.
He realised that dream on the fourth attempt of trying and perhaps acts as a lesson to us all that never giving up on what you love in life can bear fruits in the end, if you want and love it enough.
His win last night over Eubank Jr showed a further maturity and experience in his work as he stuck to an excellent boxing game plan devised by head coach Shane McGuigan.
The day after the night before, as it were, George Groves had a simple but defiant message following his victory:

It is not clear just yet what the level of the injury was last night but it is hoped that it won’t be enough to delay the final of the World Boxing Super Series – which is being aimed for this May.
It’s the first injury of note that the new format has had to contend with as of yet.
