Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua have ultimately been linked with one another again following a knockout win for Dubois this weekend.
Dubois marched on to 7-0-7KO with a stoppage win last night over DL Jones at York Hall.
20-year-old Dubois since turning pro has had some comparisons to Anthony Joshua due to the similar physique and fight style the pair have.
Dubois is obviously a long way off that level just yet of course.
He is still very green and learning on the job but his punching power does show promise.
For those comparing him to Joshua at this stage however, they might be doing so a bit prematurely in all fairness.
The pair’s names inevitably got linked again last night with the following some of the post-fight reaction from boxing fans to last night’s win by Dubois so far:

I hate the AJ v Fury fanboy stuff. Until the last decade I only saw 1 British heavyweight who could mix it at world level in my lifetime that was Lewis. We’re lucky to have Fury and AJ right now with the likes of Dubois coming through.
