Pictured: Oscar Valdes Going Into Ambulance With Broken Jaw After Quigg Fight

WBO world featherweight champion Oscar Valdez waked away with more than a few bumps and brusies this weekend in California.

The Mexican warrior suffered  broken jaw and lost  tooth in his 12 round unanimous points win over Englishman Scott Quigg.

Quigg also suffered a broken jaw in the mid rounds in a battle that both men continued to fight on in – despite the nature of their injuries.

Following the fight this picture of Valdes has emerged showing him been taken away into in an ambulance:

No doubt Valdes will be back doing what he does best sooner rather than later.

A broken jaw of that nature however could see him sit things out for at least a couple of months, in terms of sparing.

He moves onto some potentially huge fights at featherweight if they can be made later in the yer.

Perhaps one of the hottest division in the sport at the moment.

Valdez is certainly up there with the very best of them in at the moment, no doubt bout it.
