The WBO middleweight world champion is currently working towards a rescheduled date in his own career following an injury but will still face world title challenger Martin Murray next up.
In the meantime, Saunders like everyone else in the boxing community tuned in last night to the heavyweight unification fight between Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker.
Not a great fight on the whole to be fair, but perhaps the referee never allowed to be in the end.
Referees and anti-climaxes aside Saunders had a bold prediction for what Tyson Fury would have done to the two fighters last night:
The big fat gipsy @Tyson_Fury would beat both on the same night fact ! ?

Fury likely will not have been too intimidated from what he saw last night – in terms of fighting either man.
That said, he’s a way off from fighting either just yet.
He is still to confirm his comeback opponent and date and will have been out of the ring for over two and a half years before he is back.
Logically speaking, you’d have to think he’d need at least two warm up fights before stepping back into the highest level of the heavyweight division.
But, never say never in this nutty game.
