Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury shuts down reporter at today’s press conference announcing his new promoter Frank Warren and comeback fight date as June 9th in April.
Fury appears to be in a very healthy state of mind these days, on the whole.
A far cry from the dark days that once followed him around when out of the ring, massively over weight and abusing alcohol and other substances in a time that saw him diagnosed with depression.
It’s on wards and upwards for Fury now, however, and he was keen to point this out at today at a press conference when one reporter asked:
“Tyson you have served a retrospective drugs ban since your fight are you coming back with your conscience clear?”
To which Fury replied with:
“No comment. I want no negativity in here. If you want to talk negativity there’s the door. Get through it. Anyone else?”
Fury mentioned that he has about one more stone to lose in weight before he gets back to his optimal weight for his comeback fight.
