Jarrett Hurd calls out Kell Brook for a super-welterweight world title showdown later in 2018.
Brook hasn’t been long in the 154lbs shark pool and has already caught the attention of the champions given the fact he is now somewhat a name in world boxing after big fights against the likes of Gennady Golovkin and Errol Spence in recent years.
Brook looked at home in the weight class in his first fight there earlier this year and next up is looking for a more significant challenge before potentially landing the much clamored for Amir Khan fight at the end of the year or possibly in early 2019.
IBF and WBA champion at super-welterweight wants a piece of Brook however after his own next fight:
After July, let’s make it happen. ⚡ #HurdBrook #SwiftNation

Hurd doesn’t have an opponent officially confirmed for July yet but it is thought that news on an announcement is imminent in this regard.
Brook and fellow UK rival Amir Khan is the fight that most want to see next up but a bout against Hurd and Brook would certainly be a nice pre-amble to a potential Brook vs Khan showdown.
Particularly if Brook won as there would then be world titles involved in the fight.
That’s if Khan chose to fight at 154lbs – which he may not do.
He may look to make the bout at a catchweight between welterweight and super-welterweight.
