The Whyte vs Parker fight came fairly out of left field in the heavyweight division as the two men came face to face today at a press conference to announce the bout.
Dillian Whyte has positioned himself well in the rankings so one could view this as a potentially risky fight for him considering he’s so close to a title shot.
But boxing is a risk return business.
None more so than in the heavyweight division.
The pair will fight on July 28th at London’s 02 Arena and following the press conference today boxing fans have been chiming in on Twitter in their droves:
PPV ???????? why would you turn down two eliminators for world titles to fight Parker, I like Dillian but he’s getting bad advice, this will sell a tiny amount of PPV, Hearn is a proper thief

I love the consistency of the usual suspects bitching and moaning about this being ppv...as Hearn has said before re models of ppv this will most likely be a stacked card as main event isn’t huge but as always if you don’t think it’s worth it don’t buy it but stop bitching ??
