Tony Bellew and Tyson Fury continue to be linked with one another following Fury’s latest win in the ring but the Liverpool man Bellew has upped the ante even more following Fury’s comeback.
Fury’s comeback win didn’t really tell us a whole lot in fairness.
In large part down to the opponent Sefer Seferi.
That said, we do now know that Tyson Fury is at least back and that he plans on making a decent go of getting back to where he once was before his near three-year exile.
One man who is flying high at the moment is Tony Bellew.
The Liverpool native is fresh off back to back wins over David Haye and following Fury’s fight last night he sent the following to Fury:
I will knock the big man @Tyson_Fury out!! Simple as that! #LetsDoThis
— Tony Bellew (@TonyBellew) June 9, 2018
It’s the first time he’s said he’ll actually knock Fury out.
Through all the jabs in the media these past few months.
The size difference would certainly be considerable but perhaps he’s thinking to himself if he can get Fury early into this comeback then he has a good chance of causing an upset.
Fury is currently looking for an opponent for August – could it be Bellew?
Stranger things have happened.
