Luis Ortiz calls out Tyson Fury following Fury’s comeback win at the weekend in the UK that saw Fury box for the first time in nearly 1000 days.
Fury didn’t look what he used to be, which was expected to be fair, but it is understood he is already be back in the gym today in training ahead of his upcoming fight in two months on the undercard of Carl Frampton’s Windsor Park show.
It is thought that the opponent selected will be a much more dangerous one than vanquished foe Sefer Seferi of last weekend.
That said, it’s hard to imagine that someone being a fighter as dangerous and tricky as Cuban Luis Ortiz.
Nonetheless, Ortiz called him out after his win:
hey @Tyson_Fury @peterfury how about facing LUIS ORTIZ for your next fight ….. YES OR NO !!!!! @Brooklyn_Boxing @fightnews @ShowtimeBoxing @HBOboxing @RBRBoxing @BleacherReport @Ringsidewriter KING KONG CALLS OUT FURRY

Ortiz is coming off an exciting fight with Deontay Wilder back in March where although he was stopped by the WBC heavyweight champion, he impressed early on in the fight and had Wilder on the verge of defeat at one point.
Don’t expect it to be Ortiz next for Fury in only his second comeback fight though.
Far too much risk for far too little return.
