The Parker vs Whyte undercard is now coming together ahead of July 28th with a decent pair of fights now added to the main undercard of the show.
Joseph Parker will be back in Las Vegas around now for the start of his preparations with trainer Kevin Barry ahead of July 28th’s fight against Dillian Whyte in the UK.
The bout headlines a card in London’s 02 Arena on July 28th but now two more significant fights have been confirmed for the event.
First up is the world title fight that will see Katie Taylor defend her titles against mandatory challenger for her IBF belt, Kimberley Connor.
Also on the card will be former world champion Kell Brook in a world title eliminator who will face off against against WBO 4, IBF 9 and WBA 11 ranked Brandon Cook.
Although the decision to make the event a pay per view one came in for some initial flack, this is doing some good at least to strengthen up the card a tad.
Another couple of solid fights will be needed of course but it’s hard to deny that Whyte vs Parker will not be a good fight to watch given their (mostly) exciting fight styles.
Hopefully both men will look to fight for the most part and put on a show for the fans.
