Errol Spence is no doubt waking up a happy man today after what can only be described as a demolition job in the ring that he produced last night.
Spence proceeded to stop opponent Ocampo inside the very first round when in an exchange of body shots between the two, Spence came out on top and closed the show.
Indeed, people both in attendance and watching on TV almost didn’t have time to comprehend what had happened it was so quick.
Speaking today, the morning after the night before as it were, Spence said:
24-0. 21 KO. Line em up. 🎯🎯🎯 #MANDOWN pic.twitter.com/tezUO5gO9u

Man down is right.
The great thing about Spence’s talent is that it can really be tested at the moment with the wealth of quality fighters at 147lbs.
Spence mentioned after the fight that the winner of Porter and Garcia is the fight he wants. After the two contest the WBC welterweight title later this year.
The fight on everyone’s mind however is a unification with Terence Crawford.
In reality though don’t expect it this year.
Next year at the earliest due to the complexities of making the fight.
Plus the fact Crawford’s manager Al Haymon could simply box him against someone else in his existing stable of fighters.
