Manny Pacquiao returns to the ring next month for the first time since surrendering his WBO welterweight title to Jeff Horn last year.
The Australian has subsequently relinquished the strap to fellow promotional stablemate of Pacquiao, Terence Crawford.
Pacquiao won’t care mind you, as he gears up for a shot at the WBA title against Lucas Matthysse next month.
The Filipino dynamo has been looking more and more sharp in recent weeks as he gets ready for his July 15th showdown in Malaysia.
This leaking of a short clip by Pacquiao last night a clear indication that he wants the world to know that he’s not finished just yet.
Don’t blink:

Surely some of the fastest hands still competing at 147lbs.
Outside of Amir Khan, it’s debatable if Pacquiao is still one of the quickest fighters in the division when he’s in condition like the above – from a purely speed perspective.
If Pacquiao can come up with a solid game plan and use all that experience he’s accumulated over the years and chooses to box Matthysse, it’s hard to see how the Argentinian knockout artist will be able to get near him.
Style-wise it appears to be a good matchup for Pacquiao but as we all know, anything can happen in this crazy sport.
For the first time in a while I’m genuinely excited about a Manny Pacquiao fight again.
One, because he’s clearly training ferociously but two, and more importantly, the clash of styles between him and Matthysse promises for a quality fight.
