Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has let slip a comment on social media today that points to all signs being optimistic that the super fight between Joshua and Deontay Wilder could be signed very, very shortly.
During the week the contract for the fight was sent over to team Wilder who were reviewing it these past few days.
It appears that they are now happy with it.
Hearn has referred to Wilder’s co-manager Shelly Finkel as ‘Shirley Winkel’ consistently this year in a bid to goad the legendary boxing figure who has chosen to not engage in that type of behavior and remain classy.
Well, speaking to one fan on social media today, Hearn said that Finkel is now satisfied with the points that were being questioned in the contract for the fight:
“two specific details in the paperwork that we needed clarification of.” ~Shelly

The Winkle has been satisfied

Well, there’s good news surely on the way soon if that’s the case.
If all points have been satisfied and both parties and fighters want to get the fight on, the next step is the signing of the contract and a formal announcement on social media from one of the fighters or promoters.
