Fans Are All Saying The Same Thing About Khan’s Next Opponent

Amir Khan's Reaction After Canelo Beat GGG Has Not Gone Down Well

British boxing star Amir Khan held a press conference today in the UK ahead of his next confirmed fight later this year.

It will be the second fight back for Khan after a two plus year break from the sport when he was knocked out viciously by Canelo Alvarez at middleweight.

Khan subsequently made his comeback earlier this year by signing with promoter Eddie Hearn and blasting away Canadian Phil Lo Greco inside the very first round.

Khan will next take on Samuel Vargas in Birmingham on September 8th before what has been promised as either Kell Brook or a world champion then in December.

If it’s not Brook though, at this stage, with both guys sharing the same promoter – it will be disappointing.

Indeed, fans were not pleased with the news promoter Eddie Hearn had today in terms of Vargas as Khan’s next opponent:

Vargas has three losses on his record (29-3-2-14KO).

Two of which came to top-level fighters mind you in the form of Errol Spence and Danny Garcia.
