Good news all round, an excellent fight in store in a large arena in Russia.
While the first season of the popular event did not land a US TV deal, next season’s second installment of the WBSS has already secured US coverage via Eddie Hearn’s new DAZN streaming deal – who will broadcast the WBSS to American fight fans.
The first season nonetheless you’d have to say was a success overall.
In terms of proof of concept, quality fights been delivered consistently and scaling the sport internationally outside of the regular two big markets of the USA and UK.
Roll on season two.
