Pacquiao’s Conditioning Coach Comments On Pacman’s Training Ahead Of Matthysse

Pacquiao's Conditioning Coach

Manny Pacquiao is in top shape for his latest bout according to his strength and conditioning coach Justin Fortune.

The Pacquiao work ethic and conditioning for his fights over the years has been legendary.

Although in some of his more recent bouts, a full-time schedule as a congressman in his home country appeared to have dampen his motivation slightly for the sweet science.

Not the case this time around however as he gets ready for Lucas Matthysse next week.

Pacquiao appears to have put boxing first in terms of his training with a relentless focus these past couple of months.

He’s gone back to his roots in preparation but has still retained the services of world-renowned strength and condition coach Justin Fortune.

Speaking to the Manila Times, Fortune said:

“Those phase of the training program will give Manny a clear mind and strong body designed to help him fight a good fight and give boxing fans the fight they like.”

He continued:

“We all know Manny. When he fights, he always think of the fans, how to make them enjoy and happy.”

Pacquiao takes on Matthysse next week on July 15th in Malaysia.

The fight will be shown live on ESPN in the US and on BoxNation in the UK.
