Joshua Breaks His Silence On Wilder But Fans Not Buying It

Anthony Joshua hasn’t been in the media for a while, likely enjoying his summer and letting his team handle the ongoing Deontay Wilder situation. But sooner or later he had to speak and now he has.

Apparently the offer for $15 million to Deontay Wilder is still on the table to fight Joshua at Wembley on April 13th, 2018 but it was reported this week on Fight Hype that Wilder and his team now want more money due to the increased capacity available for the event.

Whether or not they’ll get more remains to be seen, but Joshua isn’t taking the situation too seriously, posting the following lighthearted subtle message to Wilder on Twitter:

The ongoing saga between the two still divides fans on both sides of the pond, with plenty still backing Wilder and not buying Joshua’s latest trolling of the American heavyweight:
