Liverpool’s Rocky Fielding has spoken for the first time since capturing the WBA ‘Regular’ world title in some style in Germany earlier on.
Fielding seized his opportunity with a sixth round stoppage of his German counterpart and ensured that the UK is by far dominating the top of the world scene at super-middleweight now.
Fielding chose his moments well and came up with an excellent finish in the end.
He’s now taken to social media to post the following message and picture following his real life Rocky moment:
What a feeling 🙏🏼 “It’s Coming Home” couldn’t be happier #ANDTHENEW pic.twitter.com/Kn8yYEs4KI

Rocky Fielding lost to Callum Smith in devastating fashion. Few days later his mum told him she had cancer. For his comeback fight he juggled taking her to hospital with training sessions. She fought back and now he has done that in the ring. Brilliant.

That’s a huge win for Rocky Fielding. Fought exactly like a fighter on the road challenging for a belt should fight. All credit to him.

Delighted for Rocky Fielding, and even more delighted by how sickened Paul Smith is in the Sky studio
