Liverpool’s Rocky Fielding is a man on top of the world at the moment and deservedly so after a genuinely excellent win against a previously unbeaten fighter last weekend, on away soil, to capture the WBA ‘Regular’ World super-middleweight title.
Fielding now finds himself in a position where after a lot of ups and downs over the years, he’s achieved a life long dream.
The question now turns to what next for Fielding?
His promoter Eddie Hearn will no doubt look to secure him a big fight.
In the meantime, there has been some critics of his win online, despite the victory being stellar.
His fellow Liverpool boxer Tony Bellew made a strong point today on the opponent and fight as a whole:
#TrueStory he was replying with fast hard counters in the previous round and you just broke his heart and beat him up mate.. He thought you was just coming to make up the numbers and got the shock of his life when you give it to him! You smashed him mate and took his 0 off him ?

Fielding finds himself in a division at 168lbs where there’s plenty of fights out there for him.
It’s just a question of where and when really.
