The UK pay per view last night had come in for a lot of criticism beforehand for being on pay per view in the first place, but it ended up delivering in spadefuls on the night.
Not just the main event either, mind you.
The Dereck Chisora vs Carlos Takam fight was another heavyweight classic to watch.
The heavyweight fight in the main event between Dillian Whyte and Joseph Parker ended the night with fireworks after that.
Whyte managed to knock Parker down twice in the fight with Parker then scoring a dramatic late knockdown on Whyte in the final round that almost knocked him out.
Last night was the first time Parker had ever been down as a pro.
A grueling battle for twelve rounds of back and forth action saw Whyte eventually score a unanimous decision points win.
After the fight, former heavyweight champion of the world Frank Bruno said:
Two exhausted men giving it all they got..fair game to both men tonight, they have both given it everything ? Great heart @joeboxerparker Congratulations to @DillianWhyte ?? ??

Well said, Frank.
Whyte now moves on to a potential world title shot next up against either Deontay Wilder or Anthony Joshua, depending on how negotiations go between the two for a fight of their own next April.
While Parker has to regroup after two back to back losses, his showing last night against Whyte actually may have raised his stock a little with the heart he put on display.
Perhaps in his next fight he will take the way he fights in the second half of bouts like last night right into the very first round of his bouts and start at that pace early on, right from the very first round.
In the grand scheme of things he is still a young heavyweight with plenty of time on his side.
