Confirmed: Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury WBC Heavyweight Title Bout

The Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury WBC Heavyweight Title fight has been formally confirmed following tonight’s Fury vs Pianeta fight.

Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren confirmed the fight as on after Fury beat Pianeta over ten rounds tonight in Belfast’s Windsor Park:

The fight as mentioned above will be pay per view in the UK and is expected to be on Showtime pay per view in the US.

While no date or venue has been confirmed yet, latest reports suggest Brooklyn in New York or Las Vegas in late November or early December as the two leading options at the moment.

The fight will be the biggest heavyweight fight in boxing arguably since Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko.

From an American perspective, it’s surely the biggest heavyweight fight to take place on American soil since Mike Tyson vs Lennox Lewis well over a decade ago.

Just the fight that heavyweight boxing needs right now, too.

Bring it on.
