Floyd Mayweather’s 50-0 Record Gets Surpassed

It took almost two decades to compile the record by Mayweather as a professional boxer but earlier today a man from Thailand went one better.

WBC minimum weight champion ‘Wanheng Menayothin’ won a unanimous points decision today over Pedro Taduran that saw him extend his record to 51-0-18KO.

Floyd Mayweather reached 50-0 last year when he beat Conor McGregor in a boxing match that took place in Las Vegas and trademarked the record as well as calling himself TBE (The Best Ever).

Records are there to be broken at the end of the day however.

Congrats to Wanheng Menayothin on an achievement that will go down forever in boxing history today.

Hopefully he will receive some opportunities for bigger fights after the publicity this week from beating Mayweather’s record.
