A possible fight between Gervonta Davis and Tevin Farmer was mentioned by promoter Eddie Hearn during the week but it appears the two fighters are more than willing to discuss it in person.

The two boxers were in attendance at last night’s Danny Garcia vs Shawn Porter fight in New York and ended up running into one another afterwards.

The folks at Fight Hype YouTube (hat tip) caught the confrontation on camera:

Clearly two guys who want to fight.

The problem at the moment however is the beef between Gervonta Davis and his promoter Floyd Mayweather.

Davis has been outspoken about Mayweather all week on social media and has said he is looking to become his own promoter, as well as hinting at wanting to be released from Mayweather Promotions.

This leaves any fight that he could be in next up in a precarious position as until he resolves his differences with Mayweather, it’s hard to see where he is going to go to next.

If he did become his own promoter he would likely need to get Mayweather to release him from his contract, something Davis pointed out on social media this week that Mayweather has done with plenty of fighters in the past.
