Anthony Joshua returns to action on September 22nd against Alexander Povetkin and his rival Tyson Fury has laid into him verbally today ahead of the fight.
Fury has consistently called out heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in the media over the years but had gone a little quiet on the insults in recent times.
But he’s upping the ante more personally and viciously then after before. Speaking today on Twitter Fury blasted him by saying:
Pussy boy!!! & also a bottle job!
Change your name to big muscles ? & no balls!!!— DON TYSON FURY (@Tyson_Fury) September 10, 2018
Joshua has seldom ever bitten to the heaps of personal insults from Fury over the last year or so.
Other than one occasion where he referred to him as ‘fat boy’.
Fury is in line to face Deontay Wilder for the WBC heavyweight title this December.
If he were to win that fight a showdown between Fury and Joshua next year could be one of the biggest fights in heavyweight boxing for some time.
Joshua has an extremely dangerous test first up however on September 22nd against Povetkin at Wembley stadium in a fight that will be shown live on DAZN in the US and Sky Sports Box Office in the UK.
