The official GGG vs Canelo 2 punch stats have been released on social media by the folks of CompuBox.
While the majority decision for Canelo proved unpopular with some tonight the fact of the matter is the bout was a highly entertaining one to watch.
An awesome fight that saw not only some excellent fight action but tremendous boxing skills by both men too.
Both showed strong heart and conditioning to dig deep as the fight went on in what was a grueling bout between the two best middleweights on Earth.

Very interesting punch statistics indeed.
The question is will there be a third fight now?
Will Golovkin want to go back into a fight with Canelo at 36 and Canelo at 28?
Canelo is only going to get better while Golovkin could now be a little bit outside of his prime.
I for one would certainly watch a third fight.
What a fight again tonight.
Two incredible fighters who are excellent rivals for one another and no matter how many times they fight, their styles will result in fireworks.
