Legendary boxer and former heavyweight champion of the world George Foreman was impressed with what he saw this weekend in Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez 2.
The oldest heavyweight champion in boxing history like most boxing fans enjoyed the fight as a spectacle and called for a part three afterwards:
Canelo Brave as a Bull! Congrats! Made a puncher Box. I didn’t expect this. Need one more between these great fighters

An interesting way of putting it that not many have done, in that, beforehand Canelo was the perceived boxer and Golovkin the perceived puncher.
However Canelo forced Golovkin to box on the back foot more and revert to his boxing skills by constantly keeping him guessing mentally and pushing the pace and pushing him back physically.
The stamina that both boxers put on show was remarkable looking back on it.
A pair of beasts, without doubt. But clever fighting machines too.
Both showed what boxing was all about at the weekend and it was nice to see both pay respect to one another for the most part afterwards.
Part three seems like a logical move at some point down the road.
