Badou Jack Reacts To Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2 News – Gives His Take

The Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2 news continues to sweep the boxing world this week following Floyd’s announcement last weekend on social media.

Mayweather in many ways is one of the great promoters of his time.

Outside of his fighting in the ring, that is.

He’s far, far smarter than people even realize and some of the marketing moves he’s made over the years have been genius in my opinion.

But, what does he really have up his sleeve with this Pacquiao 2 thing?

Something doesn’t quite add up for me on this whole thing just yet, that I can’t quite put my finger on.

Sure, it’s an enormous cash grab, obviously.

But, I still think that there are a few more surprises to come with this left field play in perhaps how it is delivered, where it is stage and on what card it takes place on.

Speaking to Fight Hype, Floyd Mayweather promoted boxing star Badou Jack said:

“I don’t know if he’s serious or not. Hopefully. I mean they are both getting older but I mean, they are at the same age. I wish them all the best. Hopefully they get the rematch and I am the co-main event.”

On fighting Adonis Stevenson on the undercard, he replied:

That would be great, a dream fight.”

He went on to say:

“Their legs (Floyd and Manny’s) they can’t move like they used to but I mean, it’s a good fight. Floyd already beat him but it makes money. That’s the main thing. If he wants to why not, as a friend (I think) why not. I don’t blame him to rob the bank again. If he makes some good money then why not?”

Badou Jack from his own career’s point of view is rumored at the moment to be in line to face the UK’s James DeGale this coming December.
