German heavyweight Manuel Charr has been reported to have failed a drugs test which has forced the cancellation of his next fight.
Charr is the current WBA ‘Regular’ heavyweight champion.
Whatever credibility that title holds at the moment.
The WBA who traditionally have always been one of the recognized world title belts, continue to have a mix of all types of belts despite fans, media and people within boxing clearly not being happy with anything they are doing with their belts and rankings at the moment.
The organization did say they would be reforming their belt system to have one champion per division but that was nearly two years ago.
It has now been reported that Charr has done the following:
❌ Manuel Charr has reportedly tested positive for epi-trenbolone and drostanolone (two anabolic steroids) meaning that his WBA ‘regular’ heavyweight title defence against Fres Oquendo has been cancelled. [According to @BILD]

Neither of the above are in line at the moment to face any of the recognized top heavyweights in the world and if the above is proven to be true, this could spell the end for Charr’s career at this stage of the game.
