Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury had less than kind words for his close rival Anthony Joshua last night after the current champion became the first man to ever knock out Russian Alexander Povetkin.
After a pretty lackluster undercard Joshua rose to the challenge and put on a huge performance in the main event.
Getting off to a slow start saw him get his nose busted again like in the Carlos Takam fight, but again like in the Takam win, he showed just how mentally and physically battle hardened he has now become.
At only at 28 years of age too it should be noted.
A right hand in round 7 closed the show and won Joshua deserved plaudits worldwide again. Tyson Fury wasn’t one of them though.

Fury challenges Deontay Wilder for the WBC heavyweight title on December 1st with the location and venue in the USA to be confirmed next week at some point.
