Naoya Inoue continued to live up to his nickname of ‘Monster’ today in Japan with what can only be described as a ruthless 70 seconds destruction in the first round of his first fight in the new season’s World Boxing Super Series.
Shown live on DAZN, the WBSS has finally found a network home in the US this year.
Adding to its already considerable distribution base to world fight fans around the globe.
If you wanted to get off to an impressive start in a new season in any sport, this chilling performance from pound for pound rated Inoue certainly did it:

I mean, the guy really is a monster.
A terrifying boxer in many ways when you combine the freakish power and skill he has with an almost sadistic enjoyment he appears to take in obliterated fellow professional trained killers in the ring.
The win today improved his record to 17-0-15KO and surely propelled him up most people’s top ten pound for pound lists in world boxing.
It’s going to be tough to stop this guy, that’s for sure.
Only 25 years old, too.
