UK boxing legend turned trainer and promoter Ricky Hatton’s heavyweight pupil that he’s taken under his wings looks like he is developing at a rapid rate – in more ways than one.
Last time out heavyweight prospect Nathan Gorman extended his undefeated record with a highly impressive stoppage win over teak tough, big hitting Irishman Sean ‘Big Sexy’ Turner.
The manner in which Gorman dealt with Turner made a lot of people in boxing take notice of the Hatton-trained prospect.
Moreover, ‘The Hitman’ has released this video of him working on the pads with Gorman today and when you consider this young man is a heavyweight, the speed he shows here in terms of hand and foot speed is quite something:
😳 @GormanBoxing's speed is ridiculous for a heavyweight…@HitmanHatton putting the big man to work in the gym 👊 pic.twitter.com/bdy5C4onKc

Fast hands for a big man there, no doubt.
Gorman is only 22 years of age too and is already 13-0-11KO as a pro.
This weekend he returns to the ring at the Brentwood Centre in the UK.
Certainly a heavyweight prospect to keep an eye on over the next few years along with other young UK heavyweight prospects such as Daniel Dubois.
