Amir Khan is no fool and is using all the leverage he can get at the moment in his negotiations with Kell Brook in a fight expected to take place next Spring in a stadium in the UK.
It will be a huge fight in the UK and certainly a big fight around the world of boxing too.
The pair have hated one another for many years now but finally, a fight looks to be almost over the line as both men now share the same promoter and box on the same platform.
Recently Canelo Alvarez announced he’d move up to super-middleweight to fight Liverpool’s Rocky Fielding but only if Fielding could weigh-in no more than 10lbs after the weigh-in on the day of the fight (same going for Canelo).
Khan has seen this and wants the same for his Brook fight:
2nd day weigh In. Brook fought under IBF 10lb rule for few fights. I want the brook fight at 147lbs with a 10lb rehydration limit. All the top fights do it. Give the fans the fight they want. https://t.co/ft4C4D2Kfx

Shrewd by Khan.
First he managed to get Brook to come back to 147lbs for the fight, something Brook struggles with anyway – now this.
