Various rumors and reports have emerged over night suggesting that former world champion Kell Brook and his trainer Dominic Ingle have split.
Brook won the IBF welterweight title under Ingle and has trained at the Ingle gym in Sheffield since he was a child.
The reports seemed a little strange considering Brook is in negotiations at the moment for arguably the biggest fight of his life against long time rival Amir Khan next up.
Ingle has now sat down with Kugan Cassius of IFL TV to clear things up and give his side of things:
It has certainly been a torrid time for Ingle’s gym as of late with Billy Joe Saunders not being able to box tonight in Boston due to a reported failed VADA test.
Brook has been in talks with Amir Khan for a while at the moment with a view to make the fight next Spring at a stadium in the UK.
Interesting stuff above all in all, in that Ingle did not deny or confirm the reports.
The only man who can clarify this is Kell Brook himself who will surely speak on social media soon and to Ingle directly himself before he does one would have thought.
