Nathan Gorman is only 22 years of age but is developing into a very solid heavyweight prospect indeed after another win notched up tonight.
Gorman has wicked quick hands for a big man and this showed again tonight at times, although he needed to overcome a hand injury in his fight to score a unanimous points win over Kamil Sokolowski.
The win took his record to 14-0-11KO.
Here’s some of the initial feedback from fight fans to the win tonight so far:
Literally what is the point in that fight? He spars him regularly, he’s a journeyman and he’s already beaten him. This is Mick Hennessy-like career guidance by Warren ? #nathangorman #btsport #YardeSequeira #boxing

Nathan Gorman wins the contest by 79-73. Definitely not a classic but a good night for #Gorman as he gets the rounds in the bank and extends his unbeaten record.

“OK you’ve hurt your right hand early in the fight, I can tell you’re sick as a chocolate frog”
What Ricky Hatton just said to his fighter, Nathan Gorman, before the final round of his fight there.

Watching the boxing on BT as I wanted to see Nathan Gorman, heavyweight boxer trained by Ricky Hatton. Not the most spectacular of fights but Gorman looks a proficient boxer and he hurt his hand early on. Highlight is Ricky Hatton between rounds. Absolutely hysterical!

No doubt Gorman will come again after tonight’s injury heals up.
