Watch: Scott Quigg Bounces Back From Valdez Loss With TKO Win In Boston

Former world champion Scott Quigg is as resilient and hard-working as professional athletes come so this was little surprise to us really.

Last time out Quigg suffered defeat only at the hands of the excellent WBO champion Oscar Valdez.

Indeed, Quigg’s only two losses of his career have come to the elite level opposition in the form of Valdez and Carl Frampton before that.

Fighting in Boston last night on the Demetrius Andrade and Katie Taylor card Quigg pulled off an impressive TKO win over Mario Briones:

Fair play Quigg.

He now moves on to some possible big fights in the new year or depending on the schedule, he may even get out again on one of the December shows before a big fight in the new year.

December sees his rivals Carl Frampton and Josh Warrington do battle so a fight against the winner of that could well be on his radar in 2019.
