Kell Brook’s Trainer Rips Amir Khan’s Chin and Ability To Take A Punch

Kell Brook and his trainer Dominic Ingle in recent days were reported to have split but at this point in time nothing has been confirmed by either and the story is purely speculation as things stand.

Ingle also trains fighters like Billy Joe Saunders and Kid Galahad but has been with Brook from the start in Sheffield at his father’s Brendan Ingle’s legendary gym.

For years and years both Brook and Khan have been linked with one another but now finally, at long last, the fight almost looks within touching distance.

Hopefully.

Speaking to Michelle Phelps of Behind The Gloves, Brook’s current trainer Dominic Ingle said:

“Khan is one of those if you look at all his knockouts when he gets hit clean on the chin by anybody, even Sam Vargas who isn’t a big puncher had him all over the place, and that’s where you hit the jackpot. He’s (Khan) got a big red button on his chin saying hit me! Kell’s an accurate puncher with either a jab or a backhand. If Kell hits that – then he hits the jackpot. Khan knows that and everybody around him knows it. But the thing is the people around Khan have their hands in their pocket for the money so they want him to take the fight. But it’s him who’s going to get beat up and knocked out.”

An interesting few quotes there from Ingle.

No doubt Khan will have something to say in return at some point, hopefully this fight finally happens.
