A lot of outpouring around the world of boxing has flooded in for former world champion Ryan Burnett today who lost his title in a freak accident last night to ‘Filipino Flash’ Nonito Donaire.
Former pound for pound rated and Ring Magazine champion Nonito Donaire was given the win last night after Burnett’s corner were left with no choice but to pull him out of the fight following a back injury sustained in the World Boxing Super Series.
After the fight Donaire showed a lot of class in the following comments that have gone down well with world boxing fans given the nature of what happened this weekend:
