Cruiserweight kingpin Oleksandr Usyk is rumored to be moving up to heavyweight after tonight’s fight with Tony Bellew so it’s little wonder current heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has been studying him.

Joshua is set to fight next April but as of yet no opponent has been named.

If it’s not the winner of Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury on December 1st – it will be hugely disappointing to boxing fans.

For the meantime, Joshua is enjoying being a boxing fan himself as he awaits news on his next opponent and offered the following advice to Tony Bellew tonight:

Clearly Joshua has seen some vulnerabilities to the body of Usyk, who up to this point has looked almost flawless in his professional boxing career.

He also comes from serious amateur boxing pedigree stock so Bellew knows he’s in there with an elite level operator tonight.

That said, Bellew has the power at cruiserweight to trouble anyone if he lands correctly and no one can question his almost super human heart.
