Josh Kelly continues to prove himself as one of the very brightest stars in world boxing with yet another impressive showing tonight.
Earlier during fight week his coach Adam Booth confirmed he would be more than happy to stick 24-year-old welterweight Kelly in there with Amir Khan or Kell Brook.
Even at this early stage of his career.
This stoppage tonight continues to prove why:

While Kelly has a lot of potential yet to fulfil and learning left to do in the pro ranks, the promise he’s shown so early is really substantial to be fair.
The win tonight in the first round improved his record to 8-0-6KO.
Boxing fans have been raving about him so far, here’s some of the reaction thus far:
Eddie Hearn announces Josh Kelly will fight David Avanesyan at the Sheffield Arena on December 8. #UsykBellew

Josh Kelly doesn’t need anymore fights like that, intrigued to see what this big fight is for him coming up that Hearn has spoke about. One of the most exciting prospects we have coming through here at the moment. 2019 will be a big year for him.

Pretty boy Josh Kelly putting on a show! reminded me of a young Amir Khan there, blitzing speed! Big fan of this kid. Was that Shane Mosley I heard is a potential opponent in the near future? Great step up that would be. #LetsGoPBK ⚡️⚡️?

Josh Kelly is mustard, put him in with Sam Vargas next and watch how much easier he handles him than Khan did! Sooner say Kelly vs Khan in summer if 2019 than Brook vs Khan.
