One of the best and most respected boxing coaches in the US has had some words of warning for Manny Pacquiao ahead of his anticipated fight with Adrien Broner next up.

Brother Nazim Richardson has trained some of the best fighters of the modern era and has experience of being around Broner first hand.

Speaking to Fight Hub, he said

“The resurgence of Pacquiao has been electrifying so maybe we can expect the resurgence of Broner. It’s not like that kid can’t fight.”

He added:

“You can’t count him out. 12th round ya (Broner dropped Porter). Broner is a special talent and Kevin Cunningham done a great job with him. The entire team as a whole have have. You can expect anything out of Broner. He’s a fighting rat. I used to throw him out of my room in the Silver Gloves. Because he’s full of energy man. So much damn energy. I hope he targets the gym with it because if he does, he’s a problem. Pacquiao better not underestimate him in any way, shape or form.”

The fight is expected to take place on January 19th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
